SANDING OAK FLOORING

boen-oak-historicalWe are enthusiastic about beautiful bamboo flooring and ensuring that worn, damaged or engineered flooring can be revived. Why is this significant?

Wooden floors are so popular and are put within numerous homes and businesses. Daily life means these floors are confronted with challenges which could deteriorate and affect their appearance. This doesn’t have to be a permanent condition.

Even the highest quality oak floors can experience harm which will mean that they are left normally unsightly. The floor sanding work that we complete is always completed to achieve the best possible end.

When we arrived to finish this wood floor restoration undertaking, it had been evident that furniture and wear had ruined this oak flooring. The first picture shows areas where the wood finish had been removed. There were heavy scratches and the end had generally discoloured.

This left a less-than-satisfactory look. Movement of furniture can certainly damage the surface of the wood planks. Heavy furniture will quite literally scratch the existing surface in the planks.

If furniture has been left in any specific place for any period of time then it’s likely that the surface underneath will wind up being a different colour to the rest of the floor. Sun harm will alter the look of the ground and general usage will be less.

This oak floor was fully sanded with our expert sanding machines. This revealed a new layer that was then prepared for finishing. This brought out the beautiful natural wood grain and gave a completely different look to the first floor.

These images reveal how wood floors can be changed via the ground restoration process. We’re passionate about delivering an outstanding service with ongoing customer support.
